Barry K. Mills
Barry
Mills is a native of Newport, Maine. After graduating from the
University of Maine in 1962, he worked a stint as reporter for
the Bangor Daily News and one year as English teacher at Clinton
High School. He graduated cum laude from Boston University
School of Law in 1967. He has practiced his entire career with
Hale & Hamlin.
Barry
lives in Blue Hill. While he still maintains a sizeable real
estate practice, Barry spends most of his time with civil
litigation, including personal injury cases, products liability,
and professional malpractice. He has served on the Board of
Governors and Executive Committees of both Maine Trial Lawyers
and The Maine State Bar Association. He served as President of
the Maine State Bar Association in 1987 and is a former director
of the Maine Bar Foundation. He is a member of American
Judicature Society, a fellow of Roscoe Pound Foundation, fellow
of American College of Trial Lawyers, and advocate with American
Board of Trial Advocacy. Barry also serves as a fellow of the
American Bar Foundation and a commissioner of the Maine Civil
Legal Services Commission.
