About Gabriel
Gabriel attended Bowdoin College and received his Bachelor of the Arts in History and Italian. At Bowdoin, Gabriel was on the Varsity Swim Team for all four years and specialized in long-distance events. He studied abroad in Rome, Italy and became fluent in Italian. During his sophomore year, Gabriel represented the Honduras National Team at the 2016 FINA World Championships in Canada, placing 5th among college students. Prior to his senior year, Gabriel was also a legal intern at LandSportLaw in Spain, where he identified federations and South American soccer players in Europe to create future personal and corporate finance plans.
After graduating from Bowdoin, Gabriel moved to the United Kingdom to receive a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Edinburgh, and graduated with Merit. At Edinburgh, Gabriel was selected for the Commercial Law Society Mentorship Program.
Gabriel eventually moved back to Maine, the state that had become his home, to study law and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in Portland. At Maine Law, Gabriel was awarded the Vincent L. McKusick Fellowship and was a Staff Member of the Maine Law Review, as well as the Chair of the Maine Law Soccer Association during his final year at the school. Gabriel also received the Pro Bono Publico Award after his extensive pro bono service while in law school.
While at Maine Law, Gabriel interned at the Maine Center for Youth Policy and Law as a Policy Fellow. He also served as a volunteer Spanish language interpreter at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic. During his third year at Maine Law, Gabriel externed at the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) where he began to show his strengths as a client-centered advocate. While at ILAP, Gabriel navigated complex legal matters in the immigration field with one goal in mind: obtaining the best results for whoever walked through the door.

Gabriel’s practice consists primarily of civil and criminal litigation, including divorce, parental rights and responsibilities, criminal defense, personal injury, and evictions (forcible entry and detainer).
Gabriel lives in Ellsworth with his wife.
Gabriel is admitted to practice in the State of Maine and the United States District Court for the District of Maine.
